Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz have issued a joint statement reaffirming their support for Ukraine following a high-level meeting in London.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing an official statement from the British Prime Minister's office, the European leaders have reiterated their unconditional and resolute commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The statement emphasizes that Europe remains a steadfast supporter of Ukraine, playing a pivotal role in any future peace settlement. The leaders stressed that this process must be conducted in close coordination with the United States and other international partners to ensure a unified approach to regional stability.

During the summit, the leaders reached a consensus on several core principles for the peace process. These include an immediate ceasefire, the acceptance of the current line of contact as a basis for negotiations, the recognition of Ukraine's right to join alliances—including NATO—and the provision of reliable security guarantees. Furthermore, the leaders underscored that Russian assets must remain frozen until compensation for damages is secured, and any peace agreement must align with broader European security interests.

The London summit highlights the ongoing diplomatic efforts by Western allies to define a coherent strategy regarding the conflict in Ukraine. As the geopolitical landscape evolves, these discussions serve as a critical framework for aligning European defense policies and maintaining sustained military and economic assistance to Kyiv, ensuring that the continent's security architecture remains robust in the face of ongoing challenges.
