Əraqçi: Tramp diplomatiyaya və amerikalılara xəyanət etdi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that the unrealistic expectations of US President Donald Trump led to the breakdown of negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear issue.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that foreign media outlets have released information regarding these statements.

“When difficult nuclear negotiations are treated like a real estate deal and a big lie overshadows reality, unrealistic expectations will never be justified," he noted.

"The result? Bombing the negotiating table for the sake of revenge. Mr. Trump betrayed diplomacy and the Americans who elected him,” Araghchi added.

The nuclear negotiations, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), were originally designed to limit Iran's nuclear activities in exchange for the lifting of international economic sanctions. The deal has faced significant challenges since the United States shifted its policy toward a "maximum pressure" campaign, leading to a prolonged stalemate in diplomatic efforts between Tehran and Washington. This latest rhetoric highlights the deep-seated tensions and the complex geopolitical landscape surrounding international non-proliferation efforts and Middle Eastern security.
