Azerbaijani military personnel participating in the "EFES-2026" multinational exercises in the Republic of Türkiye continue their preparatory training. The servicemen successfully executed practical firing tasks using various artillery and mortar systems at designated training ranges.
According to the Ministry of Defense's report to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the exercises are being conducted in accordance with the international training plan. The ministry noted that the tasks were performed with high professionalism by the Azerbaijani representatives.
The EFES series of exercises, hosted by Türkiye, represents one of the largest and most significant multinational military maneuvers in the region. These drills aim to enhance the combat readiness, interoperability, and coordination between the armed forces of participating nations. Azerbaijan's regular participation in such international exercises underscores its commitment to modernizing its military capabilities and strengthening defense cooperation with strategic partners, particularly within the framework of the military alliance with Türkiye.
