A fatal traffic accident occurred on the outer ring road in the Yasamal district of Baku, involving a collision between a Toyota passenger vehicle and a Kamaz truck. The incident resulted in the death of one individual and left three others with various degrees of physical injuries.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the "112" hotline received an emergency call regarding citizens trapped inside a vehicle following the crash. Rescuers dispatched to the scene extracted three injured passengers from the severely deformed Toyota and recovered the body of the deceased, which was subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities.
Road safety remains a significant focus for authorities in Azerbaijan, particularly on major arteries like the Baku ring road, which handles high volumes of both heavy-duty transport and passenger traffic.
