The State Examination Center (SEC) has successfully conducted university entrance examinations for the I and IV specialty groups, as well as geography exams for students selecting both the History and Geography (DT) and History and Culture (TC) subgroups of the III group.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the examinations were organized in Baku, Khankendi, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Aghstafa, Gazakh, Sumgait, Absheron, Shamakhi, Mingachevir, Sheki, Zagatala, Barda, Goychay, Ujar, Kurdamir, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Salyan, Lankaran, Jalilabad, Guba, and Khachmaz.

A total of 212 examination centers and 3,803 examination halls were utilized for the process. The administration of the exams involved 212 general examination supervisors, 605 examination supervisors, 4,716 proctors, 673 admission control staff, and 212 building representatives. To ensure the integrity of the process, the SEC established an operational headquarters to monitor the proceedings in real-time and maintain constant communication with the testing centers.

Preliminary reports indicate that 10 individuals were removed from the examination halls for possession of mobile phones, and one proctor was dismissed for using a smart watch. These incidents are currently under investigation. Despite these isolated cases, the SEC confirmed that the examinations were conducted in accordance with established regulations, providing all participants with the necessary conditions to demonstrate their academic knowledge.

A total of 51,690 students were registered to participate in the exams. This included 65 students with special needs, including those with visual impairments, cerebral palsy, and hearing impairments. The SEC provided specialized halls and, where necessary, individual proctors for students with 81-100% functional impairment to ensure equal access to the testing process.

The SEC plans to begin processing examination protocols and materials starting June 8. Due to the time required to grade open-ended test questions, official results are expected to be announced within two weeks. Additionally, the SEC will host a live broadcast on its YouTube channel today at 15:00, where experts will provide detailed explanations of the test questions and present the correct answers for both closed and open-ended tasks.
