"Data Lake" Azərbaycanda 2028-ci ilin iyulunda hazır olacaq

The creation of the "State Data Lake" and the full integration of state information resources into this system in Azerbaijan is scheduled for completion by July 2028.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this strategic goal is outlined in the "Action Plan for 2026-2028 on Accelerating Digital Development," which was recently approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the approved document, the government aims to integrate more than 85 percent of specified state data into the centralized Data Lake. The financing for the measures stipulated in the Action Plan will be provided through the state budget and other sources defined by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The implementation of the Data Lake project is a cornerstone of Azerbaijan's broader digital transformation strategy. By consolidating fragmented datasets from various government agencies into a single, secure repository, the initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of public services, improve data-driven decision-making, and foster the development of artificial intelligence solutions within the public sector. This move aligns with Azerbaijan's long-term vision to modernize its administrative infrastructure and transition toward a fully digital government ecosystem.
