Significant traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads and avenues in Baku today, affecting the movement of vehicles across the capital.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Intellectual Transport Management Center (ITMC), the current traffic situation is as follows:
- 1. Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of "20 January" metro station;
- 2. Ali Mustafayev Street, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 3. 1st Gol Kenari road, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 4. Binagadi highway, towards "Azadliq Avenue" metro station;
- 5. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, auxiliary road, towards the city center;
- 6. Afiyaddin Jalilov Street, towards Yusif Safarov Street;
- 7. Yusif Safarov Street, towards the city center;
- 8. Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadliq Avenue;
- 9. 28 May Street, from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street;
- 10. Mikayil Mushfiq Street, from the "Badamdar" circle towards School-Lyceum No. 20;
- 11. Abdulvahab Salamzade Street, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 12. Ataturk Avenue, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 13. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the front of the Baku Olympic Stadium to the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street;
- 14. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, main road, towards the city center;
- 15. Tbilisi Avenue, density observed from "20 January" metro station towards the city center.
