Repair and maintenance works will be carried out on several key roads in Baku, leading to temporary traffic restrictions in the capital.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA) has released information regarding the upcoming infrastructure improvements.
According to the agency, repair works are scheduled for Nariman Narimanov Avenue (specifically the section from the U-turn on Abdulla Shaig Street towards Gurban Khalilov Street) and Tabriz Street (the section between K. Rahimov and Hasanoghlu streets, in the direction of the Narimanov metro station). In connection with these works, vehicle movement in the specified areas will be partially restricted from 23:00 on April 22 until 17:00 on April 23.
"Drivers are requested to treat the ongoing works with understanding and to strictly comply with the requirements of temporary road signs and traffic regulations," the official statement emphasized.
These infrastructure projects are part of Azerbaijan's broader initiative to modernize the road network in Baku and improve urban mobility. The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads regularly conducts such maintenance to ensure the safety and efficiency of the capital's main thoroughfares, aligning with international standards for urban transport infrastructure.
