Bayramov: Layihələrimiz qitələri birləşdirir

The creation of new links between industrial zones in various regions and the restoration of economic opportunities represent the formation of conditions and possibilities for long-term peace and cooperation.

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made these remarks during an event titled "Cities at the Center of Connectivity: Urban Reconstruction and Regional Cooperation," held as part of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Operative Information Center-OMM reports.

The minister noted that new transport corridors, railways, highways, energy infrastructure, and digital networks integrate reconstruction areas into broader regional and international economic systems. These investments promote mobility, trade, investment, tourism, and employment, while simultaneously strengthening regional interdependence and long-term stability. In this regard, their impact extends far beyond the borders of Azerbaijan, strengthening the connection between Asia and Europe and contributing to broader regional economic growth and cooperation.

The restoration of the liberated territories in Garabagh and East Zangazur plays a pivotal role in Azerbaijan's strategy to transform the South Caucasus into a primary logistics hub. By developing the Middle Corridor (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route), Azerbaijan is facilitating a shorter and more efficient trade route between China and the European Union. These large-scale infrastructure projects, initiated under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, are essential components of the country's post-conflict development and regional integration efforts.
