A fire has broken out in a structure located in the Zira settlement of Baku's Khazar district. Following a report received by the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, firefighting units were immediately dispatched to the scene.
According to information provided by the ministry to the Operative Information Center-OMM, personnel from the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations intervened promptly at the site of the incident.
The fire originated in a wooden gazebo, and thanks to the timely measures taken by the firefighters, the flames were prevented from spreading to a nearby private residential house. As a result of the fire, the gazebo with a total area of 10 square meters was destroyed, along with the combustible components of the roof of the adjacent house. The main structure of the residential building was protected from the fire.
The Khazar district, where the incident occurred, is one of the largest administrative territories of Baku, encompassing several coastal settlements and vital infrastructure. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan regularly conducts safety monitoring and maintains a high state of readiness to respond to such domestic incidents, particularly in residential areas where wooden constructions may pose a higher fire risk.
