Traffic congestion has been observed on several major roads across Baku, according to the latest update from the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC).
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the current traffic situation in the capital is as follows:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 January" metro station towards the city center;
- Ali Mustafayev Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue;
- 8 November Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the city center;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue, in front of the "Koroglu" metro station, main road, towards the city center;
- Yusif Safarov Street, towards the city center;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors traffic flow in Baku to ensure public safety and efficiency. These updates are provided to assist commuters in planning their routes and avoiding areas of high density during peak hours, which are common in the rapidly growing metropolitan area of Azerbaijan's capital.
