Weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on March 31 are expected to be changeably cloudy and occasionally gloomy, but primarily rainless, according to the latest official forecast.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by the National Hydrometeorological Service that there is a possibility of rain in some areas during the day. Fog is expected in various locations during the night and morning hours. A north-east wind will be replaced by a south-east wind in the evening. The air temperature will range from 7-10°C at night and 12-17°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 751 mm Hg to 758 mm Hg, with relative humidity staying between 70-80%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is expected in several areas. Forecasters predict intensive rainfall in specific locations, with snow and lightning likely in mountainous territories. The precipitation is expected to gradually cease in most regions by the evening. Occasional fog will occur in some places, and the west wind will strengthen periodically in certain districts. The temperature in the regions will be 8-11°C at night and 15-20°C during the day, while in the mountains, it will drop to 2-6°C of frost at night and range from 2°C of frost to 3°C of heat during the day.
The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide accurate weather data essential for the country's transport, agriculture, and public safety sectors. Such seasonal fluctuations in late March are typical for the Caspian region's climate, as the transition from winter to spring often brings increased humidity and variable wind patterns across the Caucasus landscape.
