Traffic on three streets in Baku will be restricted in stages until 07:00 on July 13 due to ongoing road maintenance works. The Operative Information Center-OMM reported this, citing the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA).
According to the official statement, vehicle movement will be restricted on Samad Vurgun Street (from Fuzuli Street to A.A. Bakikhanov Street), Nazim Hikmat Street (from H.B. Zardabi-Matbuat avenues to A.M. Sharifzade Street), and Sanan Abdullayev Street (Baksol road) (from Z. Bunyadov Avenue to Sanan Abdullayev Street, turn 1).
AAYDA has requested that drivers exercise patience regarding the temporary inconvenience caused by these infrastructure improvements and advises them to utilize alternative routes during the specified period.
Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, has been undergoing significant urban infrastructure modernization in recent years. The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads frequently conducts such maintenance projects to improve road safety, traffic flow efficiency, and the overall quality of the city's transportation network, which is essential for managing the capital's growing vehicle density.
