Traffic congestion has been reported across several key thoroughfares in Baku, causing delays for commuters during peak hours.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current road conditions in the capital.
As of the latest report, traffic density is being observed in the following locations:
- 1. 1st Lake Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 2. Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the 20 January metro station;
- 3. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, main road, in the direction of the city center;
- 4. Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue;
- 5. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Ahmad Rajabli Street to the intersection with Ataturk Avenue.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center, which operates under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, continuously monitors traffic flow in Baku to optimize urban mobility. These congestion reports are part of the agency's ongoing efforts to provide real-time updates to drivers, helping them navigate the city's expanding road network more efficiently during high-traffic periods.
