Due to persistent adverse weather conditions in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, all flights scheduled for June 14, 2026, on the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku route have been canceled.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Press Service of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC.
"Flight operations will resume once weather conditions stabilize. Passengers will be kept informed regarding any further changes," the statement noted.
The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, an exclave of Azerbaijan, relies heavily on air transport for connectivity with the capital, Baku, due to its unique geographical location. Azerbaijan Airlines, the national flag carrier, manages these critical routes to ensure the movement of passengers and essential goods. Disruptions due to meteorological conditions are handled according to international aviation safety protocols, prioritizing passenger security above all else.
