Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has officially resumed its flight operations on the Baku–Nakhchivan route, with flights currently being conducted according to the established schedule.
This information was confirmed to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the national air carrier. According to the statement, the resumption of flights follows the stabilization of weather conditions in the region, allowing air travel to return to normal operations.
The Baku-Nakhchivan air corridor serves as a critical transportation link for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, an exclave of Azerbaijan. Given the geographical separation from the Azerbaijani mainland, air travel remains the primary and most efficient mode of transport for residents and visitors traveling between the capital city of Baku and the Nakhchivan region. AZAL regularly updates its flight schedules and ticket availability through its official website and mobile application to ensure passengers can manage their travel plans effectively.
