Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are deepening their cooperation, with both nations actively working to strengthen ties across the Caspian Sea. The two countries have recently signed new agreements aimed at bolstering collaboration in the energy and transport sectors.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the significance of this partnership during his address at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.
The head of state emphasized that without active engagement between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, major regional projects would be difficult to realize. This bilateral cooperation is considered a cornerstone for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, also known as the Middle Corridor, which connects Central Asia and China to Europe via the South Caucasus.
The Shusha Global Media Forum, where these remarks were made, serves as a key international platform for discussing global media trends and regional geopolitical developments, bringing together journalists, experts, and officials to foster dialogue on critical issues affecting the region.
