Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach 35°C on June 13, according to the latest forecast from the National Hydrometeorological Service.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that while the capital will experience variable cloudiness and generally dry conditions, other regions of the country may face more unsettled weather.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with moderate north-westerly winds. Daytime temperatures in the capital are forecast to range between 26-31°C, with nighttime lows of 18-21°C. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 757 mm Hg, with relative humidity between 50-60%.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected in some areas. Forecasters warn of potential thunderstorms and hail, particularly in mountainous and foothill regions, where precipitation may intensify. Nighttime and morning fog is also expected in some locations, accompanied by moderate westerly winds. Daytime temperatures in the regions are forecast to reach 30-35°C, while mountainous areas will see cooler temperatures ranging from 18-23°C, with some locations reaching 25-30°C.
The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these weather patterns to provide timely updates to the public. As summer temperatures rise in Azerbaijan, meteorologists advise citizens to take necessary precautions during peak heat hours, particularly when engaging in outdoor activities, to mitigate the risks associated with high temperatures.
