Azerbaijani MP says he cannot reach education minister

“I have been calling Emin Amrullayev for two months, but I cannot reach him,” MP Sayyad Aran said.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the lawmaker made the remarks during today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Human Rights Committee.

He said that a ceremony would be held to mark the 120th anniversary of the school in the Qaradonlu village of Imishli District.

“I have heard that the minister will come on October 10 and the anniversary will be commemorated. He does not respond to me. I wrote it in my calendar, called him, but he did not answer. After all, you have an assistant.

“All right, you have important things to do, but after you arrive, don’t you see on your monitor that you have received a call? A member of parliament has called you. Look and find out what the issue is,” he said.

The remarks concerned Emin Amrullayev, Azerbaijan’s education minister, and the planned anniversary event at the Qaradonlu village school. The article does not provide a response from the minister or the Ministry of Science and Education.
