The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has extended official congratulations to the Republic of the Philippines on the occasion of its Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry shared a congratulatory message regarding the national holiday on its official "X" (formerly Twitter) social media account.
Independence Day in the Philippines, celebrated annually on June 12, commemorates the country's declaration of independence from Spanish colonial rule in 1898. Azerbaijan and the Philippines maintain diplomatic relations, with both nations actively seeking to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including economic, cultural, and political spheres, within the framework of international organizations.
