Drone attacks have targeted Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) facilities located in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, marking a significant escalation in regional tensions.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that CBS News provided the information, citing intelligence sources in the Persian Gulf region.
According to the reports, the strikes were carried out over the past two days using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against infrastructure belonging to the US Central Intelligence Agency. In Iraq, the target was reportedly struck by two drones. Sources confirmed that no American military personnel were present at the site during the time of the attack. Similarly, no casualties were reported following the strike on the CIA facility in Saudi Arabia.
The incidents come amid a period of heightened security concerns for US assets in the Middle East. Under the administration of US President Donald Trump, the United States has maintained a strategic presence in both Iraq and Saudi Arabia to counter regional threats and ensure the stability of global energy markets. These facilities often serve as critical hubs for intelligence gathering and counter-terrorism operations in the Persian Gulf and surrounding territories.
