Araqçi Trampın İrandakı iğtişaşlarla bağlı iddialarını rədd etdi

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has issued a sharp response to claims made by US President Donald Trump regarding the number of casualties recorded during recent unrest in the country.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the minister emphasized official Tehran's commitment to full transparency regarding this matter.

In a post on his X social media account, Araghchi noted that the Iranian government, remaining faithful to its obligations to its people, has already published a complete list of 3,117 individuals who lost their lives as a result of recent terrorist operations. According to the minister, this list includes approximately 200 law enforcement officers.

The diplomat further noted that the Iranian authorities characterize the events as terrorist operations.

“The disclosure of official figures is part of the government's accountability policy. Those who doubt the accuracy of the information provided must present concrete evidence,”

he stated.

This statement follows recent comments by US President Donald Trump concerning the death toll during the unrest in Iran. The Iranian side maintains that such claims are groundless and that official statistics are available to the public.

The diplomatic tension comes amid a period of heightened scrutiny over internal security and human rights in the region. Historically, discrepancies between official state figures and international estimates have been a recurring point of contention in Iran's foreign relations, particularly with Washington. Under the administration of US President Donald Trump, the United States has maintained a firm stance on monitoring civil developments within the Islamic Republic, often leading to sharp rhetorical exchanges between the two nations.
