Aeroport yolunda hərəkət məhdudlaşdırılır

Traffic movement will be restricted in the Surakhani district of Baku, specifically on the Airport highway near the Buta Palace, due to scheduled infrastructure works. Drivers are advised to exercise caution on February 14-15 as electronic information and speed boards are dismantled and replaced.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Ministry of Internal Affairs Intellectual Transport Management Center issued the warning regarding the temporary changes. The restrictions will be in effect from 00:00 to 07:00 on February 14, covering the section from the Airport bridge toward the Koroglu metro station.

On the following day, February 15, during the same hours, traffic will be restricted from the Koroglu metro station (specifically the overpass above the Surakhani circle) toward the Airport. As an alternative, vehicles traveling from Mardakan highway will be redirected to the Zigh highway, while those coming from the city center will be directed through the Surakhani district via Khanlar Alakbarov and 14 July streets. Additionally, drivers traveling from the city toward the Airport can use 8 November Avenue to access the Zigh road.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs traffic police will take necessary measures to ensure the smooth and safe movement of vehicles on alternative routes during the restriction period. These upgrades are part of Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to modernize urban transport infrastructure and enhance road safety in the capital. The Airport highway serves as a primary artery connecting the Heydar Aliyev International Airport with central Baku, making these technical updates essential for maintaining efficient traffic management systems.
