The United States military has reportedly established a covert shipping corridor in the Strait of Hormuz to facilitate the daily transport of millions of barrels of oil, according to recent reports.

As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing information from Axios, Washington has taken strategic measures to secure this critical maritime chokepoint. A U.S. official confirmed that the military has been actively monitoring and controlling the southern shipping route of the Strait of Hormuz for the past two months.

"The IRGC may attempt to create certain difficulties, but they do not control the strait. We are the ones in control," the unnamed official stated.

According to the sources, approximately 10 million barrels of oil are currently being transported through the strait daily, a figure representing roughly half of pre-conflict levels. Furthermore, sources indicated that in recent weeks, some nightly shipments have reached between 15 and 20 million barrels of oil exported from the Persian Gulf.

Operational oversight for the corridor is being managed from the U.S. Army base at Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) in North Carolina. This task force coordinates its activities with regional partners in the Persian Gulf to ensure the security of international energy transit.

Current intelligence suggests that Iranian authorities are limited in their monitoring capabilities, relying primarily on a few restored radar installations and observers stationed on small, fast-attack boats belonging to the IRGC. While oil export volumes through the strait remain below pre-conflict levels, these shipments continue to play a vital role in maintaining global energy supply stability.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world's most significant maritime chokepoints. Situated between Oman and Iran, it serves as the primary artery for oil exports from the Persian Gulf to international markets, making it a focal point of global geopolitical and economic security strategies.
