Azerbaijan has been officially invited to participate in the G20 summit, scheduled to take place in Miami on December 14–15, 2026.
This information was reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the official website of the G20 US presidency.
The list of invited nations also includes Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The G20, or Group of Twenty, is a premier forum for international economic cooperation, bringing together the world's major economies to discuss global financial stability and sustainable development. The inclusion of Azerbaijan in this high-level summit reflects the country's growing geopolitical influence and its strategic role in energy and transport corridors connecting East and West. It is worth noting that the 2025 G20 summit was held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
