On July 21, police officers across Azerbaijan successfully resolved 43 crimes recorded on that day, as well as 15 crimes that had remained unsolved from previous periods.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), a total of 108 individuals wanted by law enforcement were detained and handed over to the relevant authorities. This figure includes 91 individuals who were wanted as debtors.
Furthermore, law enforcement operations led to the identification of 15 cases related to narcotics and two instances involving the discovery and seizure of illegally possessed weapons and ammunition. In total, 36 individuals suspected of committing various crimes were detained during these operations.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs regularly conducts such operations as part of its mandate to maintain public order and security throughout the Republic of Azerbaijan. These routine measures are essential for upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety of citizens across all regions of the country.
