Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has stated that Bill and Hillary Clinton were fully aware of the illegal activities of Jeffrey Epstein.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Zakharova claimed that former US President Bill Clinton was cognizant of the illicit actions of the American financier, who was accused of sex trafficking and pedophilia. During her speech at the Moscow–Islamabad media forum, the diplomat asserted that Hillary Clinton's testimony before Congress regarding the matter does not reflect the truth.
"Bill Clinton knew everything, and Hillary Clinton knows everything. What they said yesterday is a lie, a complete fabrication," Zakharova noted. She specifically refuted claims that Hillary Clinton was unaware of her husband's associates or that his flights on the financier's private jet were strictly for charitable purposes. Zakharova added that the aircraft was widely known as the "Lolita Express," a name she claims originated from those who frequented the plane rather than official documentation.
The Jeffrey Epstein case remains a significant point of international discourse, involving high-profile figures from politics, business, and royalty. Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, had long-standing ties to numerous influential individuals.
