In observance of the 107th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Border Guard, senior officials from the Military Prosecutor's Office visited the State Border Service (SBS) hospital and various military units to extend their congratulations to the personnel.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that during the visits, officials highlighted the significant achievements of Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Discussions focused on the development of the Armed Forces, the historic victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, and the ongoing state support provided to military personnel. The delegation also reviewed the medical treatment processes for hospitalized soldiers and assessed the service conditions within the military units.
Following the discussions, holiday gifts were presented to the military personnel. In response, the border guards expressed their deep gratitude to the country's leadership for the favorable conditions created and the continuous attention and care shown toward the military.
The State Border Service of Azerbaijan plays a critical role in ensuring the national security and territorial integrity of the country. Since the restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty over its internationally recognized territories, the SBS has been instrumental in establishing and securing the state borders in the liberated regions, including the Garabagh and East Zangezur economic zones. The agency remains a key pillar in the defense architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
