On July 28, the Absheron Peninsula is expected to experience intermittent strong north-westerly winds, which will shift to moderate north-easterly winds by the second half of the day.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued an official advisory regarding the changing weather patterns.

Sea water temperatures are forecasted to reach 26-27°C at northern beaches, including Sumgait, Novkhani, Pirshagi, Nardaran, Bilgah, and Zagulba. Meanwhile, southern beaches such as Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, and Shikh are expected to see temperatures ranging between 27-28°C.

"Due to the windy weather conditions, an increase in wave height is expected at sea. In this regard, the public is advised to exercise caution while visiting beaches," the Service stated in its announcement.

The Caspian Sea, the world's largest inland body of water, is known for its rapidly changing weather conditions, particularly during the summer months. The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these shifts to ensure public safety, especially given the popularity of the Absheron coastline as a major recreational hub for residents and tourists in Azerbaijan.
