As of July 1 of this year, Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves reached 85 billion 768.9 million US dollars.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports this, citing data from the State Statistical Committee.

According to the information, this figure represents a 10.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Despite this annual growth, the country's strategic foreign exchange reserves saw a monthly decrease of 2 billion 669.7 million US dollars in June.

For context, Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves stood at 85.1 billion US dollars at the end of 2025. These reserves, which include the assets of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, serve as a critical buffer for the national economy. They play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability of the manat exchange rate, financing major infrastructure projects, and ensuring fiscal resilience against external economic shocks.
