Rena Mammadova has been appointed as a new advisor to the Executive Director of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB).

It was noted that prior to this appointment, Rena Mammadova served as the Chief Medical Administrator at Pasha Insurance OJSC.
Mammadova graduated from the Azerbaijan Medical University with a degree in oncology. She subsequently pursued a second degree in international economic relations at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She began her professional career in 2001 as a surgeon at the Central Oil Workers Hospital, later serving as a medical coordinator for health insurance at the same institution. During this period, she gained professional experience in the organization of medical services, healthcare management, and medical insurance.
Starting in 2010, she held various leadership roles at Pasha Insurance OJSC, including Head of the Medical and Travel Insurance Department and Head of the Medical Insurance Block. During her tenure, she focused on developing cooperation mechanisms with healthcare institutions, improving the quality of medical services, and implementing patient-centered approaches.
Mammadova has also participated in numerous professional development programs in healthcare management, medical insurance, and human resources management.
TABIB, established in 2018, plays a critical role in the healthcare system of Azerbaijan, overseeing the management of public medical facilities and the implementation of mandatory health insurance reforms across the country.
