Unstable and intermittently rainy weather is expected to persist in several mountainous and foothill districts of Azerbaijan from July 16 to July 22, according to the latest forecast.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a warning regarding these conditions. In certain areas, precipitation is expected to be intense and torrential, accompanied by lightning and a high probability of hail.
Meteorologists have also warned that the increased rainfall may lead to rising water levels in rivers, with the potential for short-term flash floods in some mountain streams. The National Hydrometeorological Service advises residents and local authorities in these regions to take necessary precautions against potential weather-related hazards during this period.
