Tax revenues collected for the budget through the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to nearly 172.3 million manats in January-August this year.
The State Tax Service told "Operative Information Center-OMM" that the figure was 7.2 percent, or 11.6 million manats, higher than in the same period last year.
Revenues from the non-state sector totaled 125.7 million manats. Compared with the corresponding period of 2025, tax revenues from this sector increased by 13.8 percent, or 15.3 million manats. The non-state sector accounted for 73 percent of the taxes paid, while the state sector accounted for 27 percent.
In January-August this year, revenues from unemployment insurance contributions in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic rose by 5.8 percent year-on-year to 3.2 million manats.
The increase in non-state sector revenues indicates its growing contribution to budget formation in Nakhchivan. Unemployment insurance contributions are collected to support social protection measures for eligible workers who lose their jobs.
