More than 8 kilograms of narcotics were seized in the Barda district of Azerbaijan during a successful police operation. Officers from the Barda District Police Department detained two individuals, identified as Mansur Mammadov and Amil Musayev, on suspicion of illegal drug trafficking.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, a search of the suspects yielded 4.340 kilograms of hashish, 3.250 kilograms of marijuana, and 1 kilogram of opium. During their testimony, the detainees admitted to acquiring the substances, which were smuggled into Azerbaijan, with the intent of organizing their sale within the Barda region.
