Significant traffic congestion has been observed across 18 major roads and avenues in Baku today. The heavy traffic flow is currently affecting key transport arteries, leading to delays for commuters throughout the capital.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intellectual Transport Management Center (ITMC) reported that the congestion is particularly heavy in the following directions: 1. Baku-Sumgait highway, towards "20 January" metro station; 2. Tbilisi Avenue, from "20 January" metro station towards the center; 3. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Muzaffar Narimanov Street towards "20 January" metro station; 4. Rashid Behbudov Street, towards the Central Bank; 5. Yusif Safarov Street, towards the center; 6. Babek Avenue, towards the center; 7. Ali Mustafayev Street, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue; 8. Mikayil Mushfiq Street, from "Badamdar" circle towards school-lyceum No. 20; 9. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, main road, towards the center; 10. Heydar Aliyev Avenue, auxiliary road, towards the center; 11. 1st Gol kanari road, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue; 12. Binagadi highway, towards "Azadlig Avenue" metro station; 13. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Abdulvahab Salamzade Street towards Ahmad Rajabli Street; 14. 28 May Street, from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street; 15. Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue; 16. Koroglu Rahimov Street, from the intersection with Academician Hasan Aliyev Street towards Heydar Aliyev Avenue; 17. Khatai Avenue, towards Heydar Aliyev Avenue; 18. Abdulvahab Salamzade Street, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
