In the capital city of Baku, the movement of six regular bus routes is being redirected through alternative streets due to ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that traffic restrictions have been implemented on a segment of Shikhali Gurbanov Street, specifically from the intersection with Fuzuli Street to the intersection with Salatin Asgarova Street, to facilitate necessary repair works conducted by the relevant authorities.
From August 7 to 10, the routes for buses numbered 33, 52, 65, and 79 will be adjusted to travel via Fuzuli and Abdulla Shaig streets, Inshaatchilar Avenue, and Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov Street, before returning to their existing schemes. In the opposite direction, these buses will operate via Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov Street, Inshaatchilar and Nariman Narimanov avenues, and Mirzaagha Aliyev Street, before resuming their standard routes.
Additionally, the routes for buses numbered 14 and 96 will be redirected through Fuzuli and Abdulla Shaig streets. In the opposite direction, these vehicles will travel via Nariman Narimanov Avenue and Mirzaagha Aliyev Street, subsequently following their established routes.
Such temporary traffic adjustments are a standard procedure in Baku to ensure public safety and facilitate the modernization of the city's road infrastructure. AYNA regularly coordinates these changes to minimize disruptions for commuters while essential maintenance is carried out across the capital.
