On May 30, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be variably cloudy and occasionally overcast. While the day will be predominantly dry, rain is forecast in some areas during the night and evening hours, according to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service.
Meteorologists have noted the possibility of short-term, intensive rainfall and lightning in certain parts of the peninsula. A strong north-westerly wind is expected to gradually moderate throughout the day. Temperatures in the capital are projected to range between 14-16°C at night and 18-21°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to rise from 755 mm to 761 mm of mercury, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 60-80%.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is expected in various districts. Forecasters warn of potential heavy rainfall, lightning, and hail in some areas, while snowfall is possible in high-mountainous regions. Fog is expected in some locations during the night and morning hours, accompanied by occasional gusts of westerly wind.
Temperatures in the regions are forecast to be 13-16°C at night and 20-25°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 7-12°C at night to 12-17°C during the day, with some locations reaching 20-23°C.
