To improve the quality of electricity supply and meet increasing load demands, maintenance work will be carried out on several transformer substations in the capital and on 10 kV overhead lines in certain regions on August 6.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Azerishig OJSC has issued an official statement regarding the scheduled interruptions.
The utility provider announced that power supply restrictions will be applied in parts of the 2nd Alatava residential area, which falls under the service territory of the Yasamal District Power Supply and Sales Department. Additionally, certain areas along Ziya Bunyadov Avenue and Shahmar Alakbarov Street in the Narimanov district will experience power outages from 09:00 to 13:00.
Planned maintenance will also affect the Agdash Power Network, specifically the villages of Yuxari Laki, Guvakand, and Amirarx, between 10:00 and 14:00. In the Ujar district, the village of Taza Shilyan will face power supply interruptions from 10:00 to 12:00.
Azerishig OJSC noted that these infrastructure improvements are essential for ensuring a more reliable and stable electricity supply for subscribers in the affected areas once the work is completed.
Maintenance of the electrical grid is a routine procedure conducted by Azerishig to modernize the country's energy infrastructure, reduce technical losses, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the power network across Azerbaijan.
