The payment of pensions for April has been fully completed across Azerbaijan. The process, which began earlier this month, concluded with the final transfers to residents in the regions and individuals receiving pensions on preferential terms.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population stated that following the payments made on April 14 in Baku, Sumgait, the Absheron district, and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the remaining funds for residents in other regions of Azerbaijan have now been disbursed. This includes pensions assigned under special or preferential conditions.
In Azerbaijan, the social protection system is designed to ensure the timely distribution of social security benefits, typically occurring in two stages each month. The Ministry continues to implement digital reforms to streamline these payments, ensuring that citizens can access their funds via bank cards at any ATM. These measures are part of a broader state strategy to enhance the welfare of the population and maintain social stability through consistent financial support for retirees and vulnerable groups.
