The Collegium of the Ministry of Finance has officially amended the "Regulations on Business Trips for Employees."
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Minister Sahil Babayev has signed a new decree regarding these changes.
Under the new provisions, the duration of business trips for employees of the Special State Protection Service and the State Service for Special Communication and Information Security—who are responsible for the security of protected individuals—may exceed 40 days, excluding travel time.
It should be noted that in Azerbaijan, the standard duration of business trips is determined by the heads of organizations. Under general regulations, this period cannot exceed 40 days, excluding the time spent in transit. These regulations are designed to ensure fiscal discipline and standardized procedures for state-funded travel across the Republic of Azerbaijan.
These updates reflect the government's ongoing efforts to streamline administrative procedures and ensure that specialized security personnel can effectively carry out their duties during extended official assignments, maintaining the operational efficiency of state agencies.
