Next training sessions involving a group of reservists have commenced at a designated military unit of the Special Forces in Azerbaijan.

According to the Ministry of Defense, as reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the initial phase of the exercises involved registration and medical examinations conducted in coordination with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription. Following the registration process, the military personnel were provided with uniforms and other necessary supplies.

Throughout the sessions, which are scheduled to continue until April 28, reservists will be trained in the use of modern weaponry and military equipment currently in the arsenal of the Azerbaijan Army. The program includes instruction on contemporary combat and self-defense techniques, as well as tactical exercises designed to simulate real battlefield conditions. The primary objective of the training is to enhance the military readiness, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills of the participants.

These periodic training sessions are a standard component of Azerbaijan's defense strategy, aimed at maintaining the high-level professional skills of reserve personnel. Since the restoration of its territorial integrity, the Republic of Azerbaijan has intensified its military training programs to ensure the continuous modernization of its defense capabilities and the interoperability of various units. The Special Forces, in particular, remain a key pillar of the national defense architecture, requiring regular updates to their tactical and technical proficiency.
