A severe traffic accident resulting in fatalities has occurred in the Tartar district of Azerbaijan.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the incident was recorded in the territory of Qaradaghli village. As a result of the collision, Nasreddin Muzaffar oglu Agayev (born 1958) and Yunus Muzaffar oglu Agayev (born 1971) lost their lives. Two other individuals, Sanan Agayev and Konul Aslanova, sustained various degrees of physical injuries. Following initial medical assistance at the scene, the injured were transported to a hospital in Ganja for further treatment.
Relevant authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. Road safety remains a priority for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which frequently conducts monitoring and awareness campaigns to reduce traffic-related incidents across the country's regional highways. Tartar, located in the western part of Azerbaijan, has seen significant infrastructure development in recent years, including the modernization of local road networks to improve connectivity and safety.
