A potential agreement between Iran and the United States could be signed on June 18-19, according to recent statements from the US administration.

Citing French media reports, the Operative Information Center-OMM reported that US President Donald Trump announced this possibility during his closing remarks at the G7 summit held in Evian, France.

According to President Trump, if the upcoming phase of negotiations regarding the Middle East conflict does not yield success, the United States remains prepared to resume military action against Iran. "If this does not happen within 60 days, nothing will happen, and we will return to bombing. We may be forced to do so, because we will never allow them to acquire nuclear weapons," he stated.

President Trump further emphasized that continued military operations by the United States against Iran could lead to significant economic consequences. "I would not want to see one thing - economic disaster. If you were to continue this, it could happen... They need investments, after all, we have caused damage amounting to one and a half, maybe even 2 trillion dollars," he stressed.

The US President also confirmed that a copy of the memorandum of understanding with Iran has been provided to the Israeli side for review.

The G7, or "Group of Seven," is an intergovernmental political forum consisting of seven of the world's largest advanced economies. The summit serves as a critical platform for leaders to discuss global economic governance, international security, and foreign policy issues, including the ongoing diplomatic efforts to manage nuclear proliferation risks in the Middle East.
