US President Donald Trump has called on all Iranian security forces to lay down their weapons and urged Iranian diplomats worldwide to seek asylum.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, US President Donald Trump made these remarks during an address to journalists at the White House.
"I am once again calling on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the army, and the police to lay down their arms. Otherwise, they will be killed. Now is the time to stand with the Iranian people and help them take their country back... We will grant you immunity... You will be completely safe with full immunity, otherwise, your death is guaranteed," US President Donald Trump stated.
He further added that Iranian diplomats stationed across the globe should seek asylum and contribute to the formation of "a better Iran with great potential." The head of the White House emphasized that the United States will ensure that Iran does not pose a threat to America, its neighbors, Israel, or others, regardless of who leads the country.
This statement comes amid heightened regional tensions and a long-standing policy of maximum pressure maintained by Washington against the Iranian administration. The United States has frequently expressed support for civil movements within Iran while maintaining a robust military presence in the Middle East to safeguard its interests and those of its regional allies, including Israel. This latest appeal reflects a strategic effort to encourage internal shifts within the Iranian security apparatus and diplomatic corps.
