Slava Esaulenko, the son of the Moldovan ambassador to Azerbaijan, Alexandru Esaulenco, has performed the famous song "Shen Azerbaijan" (Joyful Azerbaijan) by Polad Bulbuloglu in the city of Shusha.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Moldovan ambassador shared the performance on his Facebook social media page.
The talented young performer sang the song against the backdrop of the historic Shusha fortress, delivering the lyrics in both Azerbaijani and Russian languages.
"I congratulate the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of May 28 - Independence Day! With this song, my son expresses his respect and love for Azerbaijan," the diplomat wrote in the caption accompanying the video.
Shusha, often referred to as the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, holds significant historical and symbolic importance for the nation. Since its liberation in 2020, the city has become a focal point for international cultural events, diplomatic visits, and restoration efforts aimed at preserving its rich heritage.
Slava Esaulenko is known for his active participation in the cultural life of Azerbaijani society. A student at Baku Secondary School No. 20 and Music School No. 16, he has frequently performed at various cultural events, showcasing works by renowned Azerbaijani composers.
