The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the conclusion of a large-scale military operation conducted within Iranian territory.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, CENTCOM stated on the "X" social media platform that the five-hour operation concluded on July 13 at 22:15 local time.

The operation involved precision strikes against strategic military facilities located in the Iranian cities of Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa, and Bandar Abbas. The primary objective of the strikes was to degrade Iran's military capabilities. The operation successfully neutralized coastal defense systems, missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) complexes, as well as various maritime infrastructure assets.

Currently, more than 50,000 US military personnel are deployed across the Middle East, maintaining a high state of readiness to execute combat missions as required. This operation follows a formal notification sent by US President Donald Trump to Congress regarding the resumption of military operations in Iran.

The Middle East remains a critical region for global security, with the US maintaining a significant military presence to protect its interests and those of its allies. Tensions in the region have historically fluctuated, often involving complex geopolitical dynamics and strategic deterrence measures aimed at maintaining regional stability.
