Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Financial Times (FT) released information regarding the massive mobilization. According to the report, the US Air Force has also deployed airborne early warning and control (AWACS) aircraft to the region to enhance surveillance and command capabilities.
Becky Wasser, a military strategy expert at the Washington-based Center for a New American Security, stated that the US has positioned the forces necessary for a sustained military campaign, emphasizing that this buildup is not a hollow threat. Previously, The Wall Street Journal reported that Washington is considering limited strikes on Iranian military and state facilities to pressure Tehran into accepting favorable terms for a nuclear agreement while attempting to avoid a full-scale war. Sources suggest such an operation could be executed within days.
