ABŞ İrana qarşı iqtisadi “mühasirə”yə başlayır

The United States has initiated a new operation aimed at further increasing economic pressure on Iran.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced the commencement of the "Economic Exclusion Operation." The primary objective of this operation is to limit the economic capabilities of the Tehran government and weaken Iran's access to financial resources.

Under the new sanctions framework, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been directly targeted. Bessent stated that these measures would confront the Iranian regime with significant economic challenges. The sanctions encompass digital assets, financial technologies, gold trading, aviation, maritime sectors, and technological equipment.

The US administration has also issued a warning to countries facilitating the illegal sale of Iranian oil or utilizing banking systems to serve Tehran's interests. According to US President Donald Trump, his administration aims not only to manage the threats posed by Iran but to eliminate them entirely. The Treasury Secretary emphasized that the US economy remains robust enough to support this long-term financial operation, marking a significant escalation in Washington's policy toward Tehran.
