Two individuals suspected of stealing 15,000 manats from a private residence have been detained in Shirvan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported.
According to information provided to Report by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Emin Abbasov and Agha Damirov were apprehended during operations conducted by officers of the Shirvan City Police Department. The suspects are accused of breaking into a home within the city and stealing 15,000 manats in cash. Following the arrest, a criminal case was initiated, and a court order has been issued to place both individuals under pretrial detention as the investigation continues.
Shirvan, a major industrial city in Azerbaijan located on the Kura River, has seen consistent efforts by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to maintain public order and combat property crimes.
