The Speaker of the Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ziya Ozturkler, has arrived in Azerbaijan for a working visit.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that during the visit, Ziya Ozturkler will participate in the 20th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States, which is being hosted in Baku. This event brings together parliamentary delegations from across the Islamic world to discuss pressing regional and global issues, fostering inter-parliamentary cooperation and solidarity among member nations.
The Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States serves as a critical platform for enhancing political dialogue and legislative collaboration among Muslim-majority countries. Azerbaijan, as an active member of the OIC, frequently hosts such international forums, underscoring its commitment to strengthening ties within the Islamic world and promoting multilateral diplomacy.
